About Us

     

    Willows is a charity providing a professional counselling service and is also a training agency based in Old Town Swindon.

    Willows provides services for adults in the community, either from the Willows Centre or from satellite rooms in Devizes, Marlborough, Highworth, Cirencester and Peasedown. Willows also has a number of outreach projects on local estates in Swindon including Parks, Pinehurst and Penhill. Willows also provides services in collaboration with other agencies including the NSPCC, Barnardo's, Salvation Army, Family Centres and local churches.

    Background

    Willows was originally set up out of a joint initiative between the District GP Committee and Thamesdown Council of Churches. Willows has operated as a training agency since 1989 and a counselling service since 1995. Willows is a charitable trust providing counselling and support to individuals and couples in need of help and recovery through counselling.
